Phica’s Pie Piece Throwies ~Phica

It is two pieces of puzzle mat dapped together. I used a 9.5″ bowl to mark the outside edge, and a plate for the inside (for uniformity). The cross section was made marking the ALREADY 2 DAPPED PIECES of puzzle and the “pie slices” were taken out with a box cutter. After that I used yoga mat for the striking edge and sanded that down to an edge (for looks mostly). Brush that baby off and just athletic tape it from there. Really cost-effective to make and its an easy, reliable throwie for any noobie just making stuff. 1911260_618693928222775_1519172944_o 1891359_618693921556109_1736075469_o 1921057_618693924889442_304807632_o

Do you glue the mats together before you cut??

Yes I do. That way no mismeasurements can be made.

Found out that you should also DAP the glossy side of the puzzle mat and not the dull side.. the dull side absorbs the DAP and drys up and isn’t sticky..

Could you make three of them for me?

I have a few premade with no tape on them. If you want to put your own athletic tape on it, I can send em.

Do you have a pattern for these? I’d like to be able to trace it on and cut it so it looks the best. Also have you attempted to make a Boomerang style throwie? I like the shape of the a boomerang ( 3 or 4 pronged one). I also have access to a laser cutter so a pattern i could put in it would make the cuts perfect. I have 2 of these now but they aren’t perfect. thx
